Alphan's designs are surprising and bear the characteristic Melik signature.
Since its founding in 2006, Melik Shoes has grown rapidly
has grown into a trusted and strong brand of men's shoes in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Inspired by fashion, love for the profession and beautiful products of high quality, Melik Alphan founded his own shoe brand Melik Shoes in 2006.
The collection initially consisted of men's shoes only. The clientele in the Netherlands quickly grew and
also affiliated points of sale in Belgium and expanded the collection with fashionable items, seasonal products such as moccasins, loafers and leather (toe) slippers.
In 2013 the first showroom was opened in Nieuwegein; the
shoe centre of the Netherlands where all major labels are represented. In order to further conquer the Belgian market, a strategic partnership was chosen with the agency of Hanselaer Mode Agentuur, which has a beautiful showroom in Antwerp. The collection was expanded in 2015 with the sneaker line H32 and a women's line under the name PONCHE. This growth resulted in a second showroom in the Netherlands. From January 2024, Melik will open a showroom in the Store3D building in Nieuwkuijk. There are now approximately 150 points of sale. These mainly consist of the better men's fashion stores and the leading shoe stores throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. We also have a foothold in Austria and Great Britain. In 2017, we entered into a partnership for the German market with a German agency, which will be taken over by Modeagentur Christoph Reindl on 1 January 2024, which has a showroom in the MTC in Munich.
Philosophy & Principles
Our motto is; “Melik Moving People” and can be interpreted in two ways; Firstly, shoes literally take the person who wears them from A to B and secondly, wearing the brands Melik Shoes, H32 and Ponche gives a happy feeling. Melik makes shoes, matching belts and bags for men and women who want to stand out and feel good about what they wear. Self-confident and happy people with a clear opinion and taste.
At Melik Shoes, we only settle for the best of the best. That's why we can proudly say that we make shoes that not only look great, but also offer great wearing comfort.
Style and design
We are launching three 'own' fashionable shoe brands on the market. The passion for making beautiful products is visible in every product. Price/quality is perfectly in proportion. Melik's passionate designs surprise every season and bear the telling Melik signature. The creative process already starts at the international leather fair in Italy, where Melik Alphan himself selects the most beautiful leather and suede materials. He finds inspiration for the stylish details at fairs and in the streets of the most vibrant fashion cities in the world.
We only use high-quality materials. Our specialty is hand-dyeing and finishing shoes. This is a laborious and meticulous process that makes each pair of shoes unique. This gives each pair of shoes its own look.

I ordered a pair of Giamo | Beige and was eagerly waiting for them to arrive. When I finally opened the box, I was thrilled to see that the color and design matched the description perfectly, just as shown on the website.
But the real surprise came when I put them on—the comfort of the inner sole and the softness of the upper leather made them an absolute joy to wear. I was so impressed that I wanted to order another pair, but unfortunately, my size (43) was no longer available. I’ll definitely keep checking the website for great deals and hope to add more pairs to my collection soon!
